I see what you're saying there...yeah the H8G just probably needs to be tuned in a bit. I say "tuned" because calibrating is only really achieved through equipment like X-Rite or SpectraCal.
I use Spears and Munsil and have gotten good results. I compared the colour to my older Panny plasma and it's dialed in fairly close (although the Hisense is brighter of course).
I can share my settings if you would like.
It's a different TV why wouldn't it be adjustable??
