Control Chromecast with Google TV using TV remote?

Question

Can someone who has a CC with GTV confirm if you can control it with your TV's remote using HDMI CEC? Everywhere I look people are talking about controlling the TV with the CC remote but I like using my TV's remote to control all my equipment. Thanks!

Yep can confirm it works with my 10 year old Samsung LED TV and does a pretty good job. The provided remote is much more responsive though.

Yeah, you can, at least basic navigation stuff, I prefer the included remote though

I use my Samsung TV's remote to control my CCGTV, haven't use the remote that came with the CCGTV since the initial setup.
