Continue watching different across multiple Chromecast w/Google TV?

I have 2 chromecast with Google TV devices on 2 different TVs. Same Google user on both, same apps, etc. but continue watching is different on each. Why would that be? Some of them are the same, some are not. Would think they would sync being same user etc? Anybody else with multiple that can weigh in?

The don't constantly update between them thats why as the other user stated restarting works it forces the info to update.

I have the same issue, I find turning off the power sometimes corrects it, pain in the ass but how it is 👍

I noticed the same, it takes a while for the other device to catch up to the content watched. This should have been instant across devices.
