Has anyone tried this, and has it worked for you?
I tried pairing but it seems the tivo remote is glitchy. When moving around the menus it will lag at times, most the time.
I’ve tried resetting the remote to default settings, but same experience.
Lastly, the volume buttons don’t work and other buttons.
I couldn't get it to work, but I'm wondering if the app that controls the remote on the Tivo Stream 4k can be side loaded on the Google TV. I'm going to try when I have more time, since the Google TV is a more powerful device but the Tivo has a much superior remote.
The google tv remote is really a sad piece of a remote. I can't even find a way to open the play/pause/rewind menu in the live channels app. Always have to pick up my sofabaton remote with the play button. Unless I'm missing something.
Screw it, sending the google tv back. I can’t stand their remote. I will stick with tivo stream 4K. Their hdr fix is a couple weeks out.
