Google TV with Bluetooth for Couples?

by _Nushio_

Hi!

I have an old TV where we cast through an old Chromecast to watch Disney Plus and Netflix. We recently became parents, and we're afraid that watching TV at night might wake up the baby on the next room.

I'm looking for a wireless solution to our problem, however I wanted to doublecheck that we can connect two pairs of wireless headphones.

Would the new Google TV (The one codenamed Sabrina) allow us to do this? Do I need to look for a different solution instead?

Thanks!

Honestly, getting your baby used to sleeping with noises is a great thing. You don't want a child that can only sleep if it's totally silent. If you're still a bit worried, invest in a noise machine for the baby's room. Best decision we ever made. It can be as simple as an old phone or tablet, or purchase a dedicated device, or we use a raspberry pi running volumio connected to a speaker, with some white noise audio downloaded from those 10-12 hour white noise videos off youtube.

IMO you're better off getting the baby used to sleeping with background noise.

I think you can do something like this for the simultaneous audio from BT earphones but I am pretty sure thay there might be latency/delay in audio. But you can give it a try if you want to. https://youtu.be/v6BY4SPP6N0

1 absolutely 2 can't say for sure never tried but its a high probability. You could also get a bluetooth speaker you can use close to you at low volume then you could still hear the baby.

For the notes about bluetooth vs. wireless TV headphones.

CCWGTV is not a good bluetooth device in my testing. The AV Sync is too much and not adjustable. Besides if you somehow get a baby to sleep in another room, the sound from a TV won't bother it. Sudden sounds like explosions may startle when in the same room, but when they sleep they sleep. So if you aren't in there watching John Wick movies you and the bundle of joy will be fine. My babies amazed me with just how much they could sleep through.
