Hi We have a MiXox S and we have to power cycle it multiple times daily. It freezes, shows black screen in Youtube or Netflix and reboots randomly. Has anyone found a fix for this?
I'm considering upgrading to ChromeCast with Google TV or Nividia Shield. Do you have any suggestions?

Try setting it to never sleep. i always had some sort of problem with the mi box when it wakes from sleep.
As someone who has a Mi Box S, this is a bit worrying.
How long have you had the device?
Which Android version is it on?
Are you using much of the storage on the device?
Have you side loaded some less than trustworthy apps?
Is the device positioned in a well ventilated area?
Have you set your background processes to one?
