What are the unsupported countries?
If it's anything like past Geolocked ui updates you can just vpn to a supported country and it will switch over eventually in maybe an hour or so.
Clearing cache on launcher may speed that up, not sure.

Even if you had the new UI it wouldn't show anything. I have a GCWGTV in an unsupported country and the launcher is practically the old launcher, below the main apps just sits a sliding menu with things you could watch from the apps you have installed (like the old launcher) but none of the new bling / custom recommended content. I say don't bother.
Well I'm in a so called supported country and haven't gotten the update on any of my devices.
