So I'm watching a film with my girl and someone keeps trying to connect to my TV. How can I just stop this from happening? It's so annoying. It stops whatever we are doing and we have to deny the Iphone connecting to it. Idk why he keeps trying every 5 minutes.

That someone has to be in your network... Go in your router settings, change password and block the Mac address of the device that's trying to connect

Android TV comes with something called "Chromecast Built-in" inside the OS, which means you can use your TV as a regular Chromecast to cast videos, photos, etc., the problem is, it is always ON and there is no way to turn it OFF, you will need to explain the person how this works.
I think you can disable the Chromecast built-in app but I'm not sure, you'll need to go to settings -> apps and check if you can disable it.
