Chromecast with Google TV assistant question.

Hey guys,

Can't seem to find an answer on this question and if it's been answered I apologize.

Just set up the new Google TV and when on the home page Google assistant will speak back jokes or weather or questions.

However when I am in an app like YouTube TV or Netflix the Google assistant will just show the joke or information but not speak it back.

Has anyone else seen this or know a setting that will allow it to speak back the info you want?

Yup. I experience this too. I notice when I press the assistant button the video or podcast pauses automatically and doesn’t give a verbal response, however if I pause first and then press the assistant button it does. Might not be the answer your looking for but it seems to be a usable workaround.
