We have a Sony TV that we purchased about a year ago that is getting the infamous Google recommendations. I uninstalled the updates for the Android TV app, but the ads keep coming back. I have auto updates turned off. What I end up having to do is install the Android TV update and then uninstall the Android TV update under the settings. If I change the input or even use some apps on the tv, the recommendations come back. Has anyone found a solution to this?
