Sony Bravia not finding any Bluetooth devices

by ythg_death

TV: Sony Bravia KD65X750H

Devices: Cowin E7Pro headphones, JBL Charge 3 speaker

Made sure the TV was up to date, both devices have a full charge and are in pairing mode. TV Bluetooth is turned on. Trying to add a new device just never finds anything - sits and spins on "Searching for accessories..."

While the TV is searching for devices, I am able to see a new Bluetooth device called "Realtek Bluetooth" on my Android phone but can't connect to it.

Any advice?

Seen the same thing on mine, and been annoyingly surprised to find out it simply DOESN'T SUPPORT Bluetooth audio devices, and won't even show them during Bluetooth devices scan.

Note - mine is a slightly different model, but i am sure Sony has never changed this.

You need to install an app to connect to audio Bluetooth devices. Sony doesn't allow a2dp connections natively for some reason.

I have a Bluetooth soundbar connected to mine but can only do it that way.

App is actually called “Bluetooth Scanner”
