Im really stoked CCwGTV already pairs with BT headphones - this is a big one-up on our old Roku (without having to get the headphone jack in the remote!)
Anyone have any success pairing two bluetooth headphones or have suggestions on how one might jerry-rig such a solution so my partner & I can stream movies to our CCwGTV together without disturbing the kids?
Very specific question, not sure what the answer is but me and my partner use an Nvidia Shield TV as our primarily streaming device and just use a standard headphone splitter on the included game controller and we connect our Bluetooth headphones to it via AUX cable.
Probably the most user friendly solution if you are using that device.
I'm not positive but pretty sure you can't listen to 2 bluetooth headsets at the same time connected to Android TV/Google TV.
You can connect multiple bluetooth headsets just not use them simultaneously. Someone else on here mentioned a dual bluetooth transmitter but I've run into video sync issues with those before. I might've just had bad luck though.
I came up with a workaround solution for my friend with kids. Him & his wife were looking to do the same as you.
Get a single pair of true wireless earbuds and each of you only wear 1 earbud for when you're trying to watch together. Either one of you can use both earbuds if you're watching TV by yourself.
It's worked great for them. He said he actually prefers watching with just one earbud now even when he's watching alone. He said this way he can still hear around his house if his wife or the kids need something.
This is the pair I suggested for them. The sound quality is very good for the very small price. I use them on my TV also.

Apple TV 4K does that.. but the headphones it supports are very specific and not anyone will do.
