It's rolling out really slow with no real indication which companies are going with the new interface. Sony has announced they are going with Google TV for their new TV's so they may skip the new Android TV and go straight to Google TV. Only they know for sure.
I have a Bravia (Australia also), and a Vodafone TV box on another TV - neither have the new interface.
The VodaTV box got an update that put content suggestions at the top (what I believe other parts of the world had for sometime), but this is not the new UI.
The Bravia temporarily got the same UI change as the Voda-TV about 1 week ago, but then reverted to the old UI .
UK here and no visible change however the two apps have updated on the background (TV home and core services). This is with a 2020 Sony TV.
I believe it's a server-side change that Google is doing, not just updates from TV manufacturers.
So this is waiting on Sony’s end? Great we’ll get it in like 6 months then
My Bravia 950G had an update today from Sony and I really was hoping it would just help trigger it on the Google server side. Alas it did not.
Still nothing a month later in Canada.
in Germany the surface didn't change add all. Sony AF9 new Firmware.
Seems like Sony, Nvidia, and some 3rd party vendors have opted out of this change for now (in the supported roll-out countries), that or Google paused the roll-out for some reason.
