Downgrade from AndroidTV 10 to AndroidTV 9

Is there a way I can downgrade from AndroidTV 10 to AndroidTV 9 on my set-top-box. I've run into a problem with the EXO Player and sadly there is a problem on AndroidTV 10 that causes it.
Any help would be appreciated!

Should be possible by switching slots

fastboot getvar current-slot

fastboot --set-active=a

or

fastboot --set-active=b
