I recently set up Live Channels on a new Mi Stick. The app itself was pre-installed however it wasn't visible/accessible for some reason (but you can find it on Google Play store). After setting up the sources with 'TVirl' it appeared, and I was able to add it to favorites etc.
It seems to be somewhat by design, the Mi Box S had the dedicated button for Live Channels on the remote, whereas the Mi Stick has Prime Video instead.
You have to check your region App store if they have an app
