If you have a cable card or antenna and one of their devices, the hdhomerun app.
I have the "Channels" app tied to my HDHomeRun, and it displays my favorite channels on the "Watch Next" section. Is this what you're looking for? I'm not familiar with a TV Guide on AndroidTV but it sounds interesting.
Plex also has a TV guide style screen if you have the Live TV and Plex DVR configured.
Is this in the tab on the home screen? Or the Live channels app? Anyway, if you're in Australia, this will give you local channels
