Upgraded and overwhelmed

Hi I am Wag, or MawMaw. I moved from a 32" with a roku to a 50" Android. No need for a roku now. Only one app I am not able to get that I had on my roku, so I am pretty happy. I am older (61) so while change is good it's also a tad overwhelming. Do y'all have any advice for a newbie? Something I may want to add? So much to explore. Stay safe and well 🤗

Keep it minimal. Download the apps that you only use and keep your home screen clean. When I had my first Android TV, I downloaded a lot of apps and it overwhelmed me. Enjoy!

And android tv is a low powered unit. A shield is the primo android tv experience. It's like buying a yugo and saying that is what all cars are like lol. That being said, atv isn't some wonderful stand alone thing. It just plays your netflix, hbo, etc.
