All videos from external storage on mibox are only showing green screen on any media player

Question

I've tried using different media players like VLC, MXpro, and Kodi. But all videos from my external drive seem to only show green screens. No matter what file type it is. Help...

Edit: I've disabled hardware acceleration on VLC and it somehow works? But it's playing like a flipbook.

Did you test any of those videos by copying one to the internal memory of the Mi Box?

have you tried mx player software decoder,,it gives me the same for hevc files, it plays from mx software decoder easily
