Hi,
I just got a Samsung QLED TV, and I want to be able to control the volume on my Chromecast with Google TV with my Samsung remote.
As it is right now, the Samsung remote controls the TV volume. I have the option to disable volume control on the Chromecast, this locks the volume at 100%. But I want the ability to control volume when casting to this device without using the remote.
Is it possible to enable volume control on the device itself, when the source of the Chromecast is selected?
Thank you!
I'm confused, on my TV the Chromecast remote controls the physical volume. Like it uses the IR to control the volume the exact same way the normal remote does. If I were to pick up the normal TV remote it would still function the same way.
Are you using the Chromecast built in volume as your primary volume adjustment? If so turn that off, that's insane haha. Head into the settings and teach your remote to control the normal volume.
