Hey everyone, I'm new to reddit but I hope you can give me some advice. I bought this XIAOMI Smart TV 4S LED TV (Flat, 43 Zoll / 108 cm, UHD 4K, SMART TV, Android TV 9) last week and I'm wondering if anyone has this same problem or any advice on how to resolve this. Whenever I turn on the TV what you see in the video happens. The past few days this disappeared after a few minutes and the TV was fully functional afterwards. However now it has been going for an hour. I've tried everything I can think of, like pulling the plug, waiting, then plugging it back in (tried different outlets too) and resetting the device but nothing has worked. Any help or tips would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, hope you're from USA, Canada or UK. Return the tv and buy a better brand like Samsung , Sony or LG. All have tvs in different price segments.

This is some crazy looking shit!

I also have a MI 4K TV. Regret from the day 1. Light bleeding issue, extremely slow performance, can't disable the MI interface.

It tried to exchange it, but they do not have any exchange policy. Only warranty.

Next time, I will never fall prey to a cheap price. Spend little extra and buy Samsung or LG instead of sxxt Chinese brands.
