Can you use the the mibox S with an external HDD or USB stick? I would like to know if i could watch 4K (or 1080p) movies from a external storage device and if it would be possible to add english + dutch subtitels to Them as well using a seperate SRT file. I'm dutch and sometimes to lazy to listen ;) .
I use an external HD and opensubtitles so yes you can. As for the quality though, I can't tell you for sure. One box works fine, it is right next to the router, the box in the bedroom can play better than 720 without stuttering or whatever that makes it unwatchable. That could be a wifi issue and not a box issue for sure since it has no issue on the 720 stuff in the bedroom or higher quality in the main room.
