Imported Live Channels Don't Save

I'm in the UK, using the CCwGTV.

I route the Live Channels app, Pluto TV, and Xumo through a USA VPN.

My most-watched live channel is actually Sky News UK on Pluto TV. It doesn't appear in the channel line-up when accessed via a UK IP.

I can import channels from Pluto TV and Xumo into Live Channels, and save... But after a while, I have to re-import again. It seems to happen every time I turn the TV off and on. I guess it's whenever the CCwGTV goes to sleep.

Is this issue due to my using a VPN, or do others not using a VPN have the same issue?

Is there an alternative to the Live Channels app (which simply imports channels from other apps) that I could try?

I live in the US and don't have this problem with Pluto @ Live Channels. Maybe try adding those channels instead as a m3u playlist using TVirl app. Here are the URLs for playlist & EPG @ Pluto:

I dunno, I'm in the states and this happens to me with Xumo. I have a Sony X900H and you can import Pluto and Xumo channels into the guide and/or watch channels through their downloadable app. The Xumo app works fine, but the channels in the guide stop loading after a while. Just says 'no data' in the channel descriptions.

Sometimes, trying to re-download doesn't work either. Hard re-set of the TV does nothing as well as unplugging the ethernet for a few minutes. Other times it does let you re-download the channels to the guide but I just decided to watch through the app. It's an annoying problem that I don't want to spend any more time trying to figure out.

Since you like live channels add this to your collection too, I implemented a live channel download if its not installed in your device, I've not had any issues on chrome cast only the menue and banner Don t vanish unless you press back live channels news app

I need to update bbc news I think they stopped their m3u8 so fetching the latest one then il update

Sky News UK is available on YouTube, live, if that helps. (It's available everywhere except Australia).

I've not had any luck in installing the Pluto app at all in Aus. It simply says it isn't supported.
