So I have a CHiQ (ChangHong) Android TV and a few times a week it'll just turn itself on. There's no pattern to when it'll happen, it seems totally random.

its a OS bug, the box manufacturer can fix with firmware update.
I've got a sony that has done that a few times.
Have you checked if it's overheating??
Look into wake over lan. Might be the culprit
