When Mi Box is asleep, is there a way to have chromecast awake?

SO i have the tv set up working through the CEC, but if i want to cast something to the TV i still have to turn it on or wake up the box. Kinda defeats the purpose. if there was a way the chromecast was still discoverable when i cast something or ask google to play something on the TV is not discoverable.

I used to leave to turn the TV off manually and leave the box on. but in that state the box doesn't turn the TV on like it did when i used a chromecast.

My Mi Boxes show under Chromecast when asleep. Even I can turn them on with voice commands from my phone with Assistant i.e. Play BBC radio 1 on living room.
