How do I control this volume bar which only appears for a couple seconds when I turn my tv on? (I have a Verizon Stream TV)

I made a post about this a while back, but nothing helped. the volume bar on the screen appears briefly for a couple seconds and constantly sets itself to 50% when I turn the tv on I have to recalibrate my stream tv remote to set it back to 100%. Then every time I open hulu or youtube it’ll set back to 50% overall capacity, so I need to increase my tv volume to like 60 or 70 to hear anything. I turned of HDMI CEC, and also set audio format to PCM. Nothing helps. Any tips?

i’m starting to think this may be an android glitch but it’s so annoying. The volume bar appears for a couple seconds and no matter which buttons I press I cannot control it, and then it suddenly disappears.

use a Keyboard and press f11/f12 to adjust the volume

You can also control volume from the Google Home app

See if you have an option to set the remote to control the tv volume instead of the volume d the device. The Chromecast with Google TV has this option and I much prefer it.

Are you casting to the TV when it happens? normally I can use the volume on my android to control that menu.

But I never see it when not casting.
