Is screen mirroring to Android TV through USB possible?

Hello,

I have an Android TV Box connected to my TV. I also have an Android phone that I'd like to screen mirror to my TV by connecting the phone over USB to my Android TV box. That way I can play mobile games on the TV screen without any latency. Chromecast has too much latency for gaming and I don't have an USB to HDMI adapter.

Is there any method or app that does the trick?

Depending on the phone you can try going usb-c to HDMI and by-passing the Android TV box all together. That's what I do with my Samsung S9.
