Android TV as Selfservice Kiosksystem

Does anybody has experience of using an android tv box as self service kiosk like we know already from MC Donald's?
Criteria would be an portrait mode able device, which is able to connect to an touchscreen over USB (I'm using a iiyama 32").
Is Android TV capable to do such a task?

I already tried an raspberry pi 4, but it is kind of laggy and the terminal sdk supports only android.
It is such a mess, i do not know where to start hardware-wise as there are so many android tv devices around.

That TV supports Windows or Linux, I'd think you'd have better results trying to program for those environments.

I'd start first with which kiosk service/app best suits your business, then choose from their list of supported devices. Using a iPad or Android tablet with touchscreen capability also seems to make much more sense for customer use.
