Does League Pass have Chromecast support? Might try that as a workaround from your phone if so.
I have the same situation for a year now. Netflix doesn't work either. None of the updates fix this. Thinking about rooting as this might be the only solution. Shield Pro 2015
Once in awhile I get a variation of that error. Nothing works as far as getting the game going again until I reboot the device

Same error after just signing up for the Cyber Monday 50% off subscription. 3 different devices all the same 403 error.
This error will happen seemingly randomly. About 60% of the time I’ll be able to watch a basketball game without issue. Other times this error message comes up. I’ve tried reinstalling the app, clearing the cache, restarting the TV to no avail. I just have to wait a while (as in the next time I want to watch a game) and hope it works. I hope there’s some process that I can kill in the settings (there’s a shit ton running at once which was surprising) to fix the issue.
