It's been there for months. A Youtube problem.

That's a problem with live VP9 streams on YouTube, there is an update for the app rolling out but I ignore the version, it apparently fixes the issue but if you still happen to have it after the update hits your TV make sure you report it at the YouTube Feedback website.
Use smart YouTube TV it works !

Live with cable? Live from antenna? Live from Youtube TV? Live from Hulu? What "AndroidTV" are you running? The one that came with the TV or a separate device?
