Using the arrow keys to select letters on the standard on screen keyboard is damn annoying.
I'm looking for a keyboard that allows me to use the remote in a T9 fashion, like phones in the good old days, but I can't seem to find any in the Play store.
(Not looking to buy a new remote, just want a T9 virtual keyboard that understands 0-9 as letters.)
Install Android TV Remote or Nvidia Shield Remote from the Play Store. Typing with these is a breeze (I have both but prefer Android TV Remote for typing). Here are links for them:
