Hi guys, im planning to buy android tv box and the Mi Tv Stick is currently my first choice after considering the price. After reading its reviews im starting to doubt whether i really should buy it. Is the performance really bad? Im mainly gonna use it to stream from plex, youtube and other streaming apps.
P.S.
I forgot to mention that my current tv resolution is only 1080p. That's the main reason I'm considering the tv stick rather than the mi box s.
It's not really bad, but not really good either.
Really useful for turning dumb TVs to a smart TV.
If you have a 4K display, don't go for it
YouTube works fine. For Plex, make sure to encode your library to 1080p with stereo audio (if you haven't already) and make sure that you have a good 5G WiFi signal. Playback is generally smooth, but navigating menus stutters a bit.
Stay away from all kind of tv sticks and go with mi box or chromecast with Google TV 2020 All kind of sticks have connection issues + lower resolution
Hi again, I just want to update that after reading everyone comments I decided to go with the Chromecast with Google TV. I've been using ccwgtv for about a week now. Currently i just use tivimate & tvirl to watch live tv, plex & netflix to watch tv series and movie and watch some YouTube video. So far so good.
I really don't recommend it because it has only 1GB of RAM so get something with at least 2GB, therefore I recommend these:
