Virus scanner - worthwhile ?

I had a spare license for Kaspersky internet security. I put it on the android tv box . Is it worthwhile or a waste of resources ?

You dont need antivirus or cleaner apps. Use Malwarebytes if you sideload apps from sketchy sources......or better yet, just don't sideload apps from sketchy sources.

Depends... Do you regularly sideload APKs you find on the dark web (or similar)?

If not then it's a waste of resources.

Malware scanner would be better...pesky Ruskies putting out dodgy ROMS on the net causing major P2P traffic on peeps boxes, shutting down Vpns ..tsk ,tsk lol
