Android Box Question

by Glass_Hunter9061

So, this might not be allowed here, but I can't find an active subreddit that I think might be better (except maybe just r/Android?). But anyway, I need to pick up an Android box to be able to stream to for work, replacing an old one that broke. Problem is, Android TV doesn't seem to support the installation of browsers anymore, and the *only* thing I need it to be able to do is run Firefox. Is there anything specific I should be looking for?

You can sideload all Android browsers on an Android TV.

A few browsers on the PlayStore, but none of them can download files to your device, so very limited in use. You can sideload most any Android browser to your device, (I find Brave is pretty good), but on many browsers the page control is not designed for TV use is really hard to use, if you are using the include remote control. Instead, best to use a mouse or touchpad.

Why not get a Windows10 mini PC or Chrome Box?
