How to connect Android box to smart TV wirelessly?

by [deleted]

What the title says.

I have an Android box that needs to be in the middle of our living room (don't worry about why!) and I don't want to have the HDMI cable running across the floor. I have an LG smart TV. Is there a way I can collect the box to the TV without any cables?

Any help much appreciated 🙏

Kind of curious... Why would you not just get an older chromecast ultra connected to the TV and cast from your phone if that's the case. No android box needed. And you could just keep an old android phone on a charging dock in the room with a home screen of all your streaming apps.

And for apps that don't cast, you go to Google home, hit cast screen for the TV, and then go to the video app and play.

WebOS is not cast enabled. YouTube, YouTube TV, Netflix use dial to let the cast icon lauch and control the app on non cast device like your LG TV, Fire TV, Roku and so on. I'm not sure there is a way to do what you want with the LG TV. An IPTV service that provides an M3U list can be used with an app like TiViMate and can be run on Chromecast With Google TV or Fire TV would solve your problem.
