I noticed this today. You select the video, the player switches to full screen but nothing plays. The Play button seems to be clickable but nothing happens when you click it.

Yes, videos stopped playing yesterday (fire OS tv). Upgrading the app was the only solution when I last had this problem.

Upgrade to 11.17 fixes the issue. I feel like YouTube altered something but upgrading to the latest version via the in-app upgrade worked like a charm.

As far as 'check for updates' is concerned the latest stable is 10.130..

I'm a bit reticent to try bleeding edge at the moment.. will have to go back to the ad laden version youtube until a fix is pushed.

I literally just updated to the latest version and had this happen after watching two videos without issues. Now nothing will play on it, really puzzling as it was working fine before.

I have two devices with it installed and neither is working as of tonight. One is on the latest 11.20 and the other is 11.16. I had this issue on one device a few days ago but it fixed itself later that day.

Does anyone know where to find the 11.20 apk?

I've had this issue for months on two different TV's. I'm convinced it will not be fixed. Unfortunately this makes the app unusable. 75% of the time, the video itself does not load at all

Speaking of playback, anyone knows how I rewind a livestream from the beginning?

I'm pretty sure the last two builds where explicitly labeled as "highly unstable" so this is expected.

That being said, I've not had this issue on my SHIELDTV. It often says "video decoder error" but then plays after a few seconds.
