Everything seems to be going to the Home app, I’m not alone in hating that app am I?
As long as it's possible to remove it this seems like a good choice, most don't want to search for the remote app
Absolutely fucked up. All I can do on iOS app is increase or decrease volume and on android phone nothing shows up on the quick settings.

Very weird that they're using Google Home app on iOS but not Android...but doesn't bother me yet.
I prefer clicky buttons I don't have to look at the tap. I feel like most people are the same. The main time I use the remote now is for long typing, usually a password or other sign in process.
