I had the strangest issues on my Mi Box until I read somewhere that Xiaomi boxes (being made in Asia) only work in certain WiFi channels, whilst where I'm from (Europe) offers more of these channels.

Have you tried changing your wifi's broadcasting channel to one (don't quote me on this) between 4 and 11.

Most routers will be set up to pick the best channel, which will differ often and can be outside of the usable range for Xiaomi devices.

Hi ,

Is this happening with airtel wifi router . I recently solved this issue by disabling NTP settings in wifi router maintenance window .

Steps :

  1. In TV select date and time as network provided
  2. Login to wifi router and in maintenance change date and time to latest date and disable NTP settings
  3. Restart the TV .

You can test this by. Turning off your tv multiple times .

Hope this works .

I have the same issue on my MiTV stick. My YouTube is acting strange. I giving a network error everytime. So My best solution is reset the device and do it all over again.
