How do I enable audio pass through?

I have looked online but can’t seem to find the setting for enabling audio passthrough for all apps?

I’m using a Sonos Arc 5.1.2 setup and it works fine with Plex with passthrough enabled but other apps such as iPlayer play stereo only.

How do I enable it for everything?

Not everything will have that feature; what kind of device do you have?

The auto setting on the TV should send what ever the app is providing as audio. It's possible that particular app doesn't provide surround to that particular TV.

I picked up a 70 inch t l c Android TV a few months ago at like Best Buy and I've had nothing but issues trying to get the arc and earc to send proper audio to my new Denon 7.1 Atmos capable receiver and it was just headache after headache at least until today. Because I installed a new wall mount and had to reset up the audio and everything I have a high quality high speed HDMI 2.2 cable pretty short as well only about 6 ft and does send data as well as supporting 120 hertz on 4K but it still refused to accept anything but stereo pcm sound for some reason tried changing the audio output in the sound settings from audio to pass through back to PC m didn't matter the Denon app on my phone always shows stereo PCM audio coming from the TV before I swapped mounts for this TV it was working for a Time not sure why it wasn't working once I hooked it back up did all kinds of things power cycled swapped cables back and forth the Arc is working in the sense that when I turn up the volume on my TV the volume on the receiver goes up and the power to shut off the TV on the TV remote also shuts off the receiver at the same time. Today though I did something different I went into the system settings of the TV to find the arc setting and saw that it had just the option to turn off and turn on it was on the on setting so I turned it to the off setting and magically all of the audio that I was missing suddenly turned on I don't know if there is a bug with that t l c Android TV or something where when you have the arc setting turned on it's actually off or something but everything is working perfectly fine now even getting Atmos pass-through from the few things on Amazon Prime video that have Atmos channels is also working through Kodi Netflix Hulu you name it they are all out putting proper audio now very strange but I'm happy.
