Hi got this Xiaomi TV that comes installed with AndroidTV OS running Android 9.0.
I need help with the stuttering when I cast a file to watch on the TV and also tried to cast from phone screen. It is just not smooth at all.
I have used Chromecast before on a non-smart TV and it doesn't stutter like this.
Any recommendation how to fix this? It's a feature I use a lot

I have the exact same TV and ask the same question every F1 race weekend when I Cast the livestream video feed from my Chrome browser to the TV, haha.
I experience microstutters that happens every few mins as it is buffering the video from my laptop. I have a stable local network, and always close all apps in cache before casting.
Weird thing is that the issue comes and goes for me, or some days it does not even happen at all. Still can't pinpoint the weak link in the chain, or if it may just be the firmware issue itself.

My housemate is off the net right now and casting works smooth from PC to TV
I have also switched to using 5ghz.
Does the router plays a part in this even though I don't think my housemate does any heavy downloading and just watching YouTube
And we live in a small apartment.
Not totally fixed but well at least I know the TV do work fine. :)
That's wireless for you! 😁😂 I suspect your WiFi connection, our family uses Mi devices, and my granny got the TV. She doesn't have any issues with casting - tried myself even!
