Picked up my Mi TV Stick, since I decided to make my 2012 TV smarter, and the assistant works pretty well with turning on/off and docking my smart vacuum cleaner, since I paired it in Google Home with the stick. The problem is, the Google Assistant on the Mi Stick cannot set timers, judging by the Google website, Google Assistant on TVs should be able to set timers. Are there any issues in my Google Home configuration, or is it just that way, and I cannot do anything about it?
P. S. I have a Google Home, shared with 2 users: an iPhone - me, owner and creator of the house, and an Android user - just a member of the house. We have only 2 devices in the home - TV and vacuum. The Mi Stick and the Home is paired with the same Google account.

Also cannot do on my mi TV stick. Google support says "Timer alert sounds will only be played from the internal speaker or display, and not other cast devices (TVs, other speakers) that are associated with the Google Nest or Home device."
Does it mean you have to have a google nest or home speaker?
