Endless scrolling issue

Random issue that popped up out of nowhere today.

When I scroll through anything, menu, volume, channels it just carries in. One press of up on volume and it heads to 100. A left click on a YouTube menu and it won’t stop scrolling.

I have tried a factory reset and everything was fine for an hour or so. But then it started doing it again.

This is on a 2019 Sony Bravia 4K tv.

Not sure if this will help — anytime I've had weird issues like this, where the remote seems to have a mind of it's own, the controller was the culprit. If you have a controller, make sure it's charged or keep it somewhere that cuts the bluetooth connection. I keep mine in a cigar box when not in use.
