I have two. You can disable the TiVo part of it simply by going into the android menu and disabling two different apps. TiVo under apps and TiVo customization under system apps.

I disabled all the bloat/tivo stuff. Installed button mapper pro and changed some buttons to apps I use and this stick is now my fav

At Walmart too, ftr. You get more features for the same price as that ONN thingy for the same price. I suppose one could want the reference design remote though.

I have one. It’s a pretty decent device. How they interfere Android tv and their proprietary os is kind of clunky, but it works. If you’re only going to use the Android tv side it gets the job done runs TiviMate pretty good.

Aren't TiVo discontinuing it? If so, I wonder how long it will receive OS and security updates.
