Wifi cutting in and out?

My Sony Android TV won’t stay connected to the internet. I’m not having issues with other devices. I’ve ensured that the TV software is updated, restarted the TV multiple times, and restarted my router multiple times. It’s close to the router so it’s not a distance problem (5-6 feet). I’m out of ideas. Please help.

Eero router shows the TV is getting one bar of Wifi and all other devices getting full bars. Even with one bar the TV won’t play anything. It just hangs.

Restarting everything sorta fixes it for like 10-12 minutes but then BOOM problems.

Speed test shows 947 down.

Try changing the channels on the router ,it may be conflicting with some thing else on the network.

In your router try changing the channel width from 80mhz to 40mhz. Also try setting a different channel to 44 or simething else. Save those settings as see if it improves.

For the connected to wifi no internet: in your androidtv settings, toggle time and date settings off and then on again to auto.

Some Sony’s have absolutely bizarre WiFi issues. My old 750H would constantly drop signal but also give constant pop ups saying it was disconnected when it was in fact in the middle of a stream. My A8H is MUCH more stable. You might want to consider going with a separate device if the built in WiFi keeps giving you grief.

And of course if the router is that close, a wired connection straight to the TV is probably your best bet.
