Just got an Onn streaming box, tried to cast to it and found the audio kept up with the computer but the video very quickly fell behind and out of sync. Has anyone had this issue or know of anyway to fix it? TIA

Don't worry, casting a Google Chrome tab or a the whole computer screen has always been laggy, unfortunately there's nothing you can do to fix it, not even using ethernet between the two.
OP you ever find a fix for this? Had this issue since day 1 and don't understand how I'm not seeing more on it.
I have a 5 year old official Chromecast that has no issue receiving the Chrome tab stream but the Onn UHD video immediately is behind the audio and progressively gets worse (lags further behind). You can kind of tell the video is slightly slower but audio didn't miss a beat.
Both devices on 5ghz and 10 feet from each other and the router. And like I said, an old Chromecast plugged into the same TV on a different unit has no issue (yes I've swapped their inputs with no change in behavior).
what do you mean on the computer? Did you cast or mirror your screen?
