MiBox S freezez the TV?

So recently i have noticed that if i just shut off the TV while it's on HDMI with MiBox playing something the TV will freeze and will not boot up until I unplug it and plug it back.

If I just go to homerscreen before shutting the tv off it doesn't have this issue.

Any ideas what could cause this?

Did a full reset on the TV, doesn't seem to help it

Probably the app itself you are watching the video with is crap.

But anyway, try a better/different HDMI cable.

Do you have HDMI-CEC (the option to control your television via the Mi Box remote control [Settings> HDMI> Enable HDMI-CEC]) set to on? If so, turn it off and see if that helps.
