I mean Destiny 2 is a great game.
The funny thing is they can only advertise free ones because you can't make purchases on the Android TV app yet.
I really hope this someday translates into buying games from the OS just like you would do with Movies/TV from Google. Then they launch into Stadia app.
That might make the most sense, adding store to the app would be redundant while they have the hooks already in place here.
Better yet, a tab for “Games” that combines titles from Play Pass, Stadia, and perhaps third-party services would be most welcome.
This is the dream.
Google's doing great things with Google TV. I know PC and the PS5 have better graphics or unique features, but my TV on the wall and no cables or boxes around of any kind capable of playing AAA games, some of them for free (like Destiny 2), and having all sorts of streaming services and youtube... to me this feels like the future: simple, fast, minimalist.
This is so bad.
Oh great, more stuff to add to the carousel of garbage I'm never going to actually want.
