I have been using the mobile version of Stadia on the GTV for some time now and so far I am very happy with the official AndroidTV version. 4K and HDR work great ( apparently even Shield doesn't do HDR, lol) , Stadia Controllers pair every time easily, and you can finally use them in the Stadia app itself, not just the games. There really is no noticeable controller lag when using a Stadia Controller IMHO, to me it really does feel like playing a local Console. I will admit I am not a huge Gamer these days but this sure brings back memories.

I really like this much more than Geforce Now. All the Games I bought with discounts (not free ones) while on Stadia Pro are still available to play any time for free without a monthly Subscription, you are only limited to 1080p though without Pro. Geforce now always had a controller lag ( when using a Ps4 Controller) that basically made gameplay very frustrating if not unplayable.

I tried pairing my Sony WH-1000XM4 headset but it seems Bluetooth headsets are not supported for in game chat, but the stadia controller does have a 3.5mm jack for a gaming headset which I could not test.

I think gone are the days you need an over spec'd "Gaming Device" Just to enjoy some games now and again, probably any android TV device will play this stuff just as well, of course it will never beat a PS5 or Xbox.
