How good/bad is Mecool KM6 Deluxe ?

Hi everyone,

I want to buy a Mecool KM6 and install Kodi in it. I saw it had 4gb RAM and 64gb ROM with the Amlogic S905x4. In reviews they say it is a beast and I think it could be a great option. I am not interested in streaming platforms and I would not want to buy a device that is more powerful than what I will need. I only want to install addons, search on the internet and not more than that. Do you guys recommend me this device ? Is it good ? Or do you reocmend me another alternative that better suits my needs ? I would really appreciate your help.

I have this device and the normal km6, there are a few bugs, the remote loses Bluetooth connectivity but IR still works and allows you to reboot when it happens, but it is stable enough as a daily driver TV box. There is a modded version of Netflix if you need. Check the freaktab and 4pda forums for a bit more detail

The only bad side is it lacks the Netflix certification, otherwise it's the same as any other Android TV device, obviously it can't be compared with the power you'll get with an Nvidia Shield but other than that you'll get the same experience.

One important thing to note though it's the only certified Android TV box with WiFi 6.
