I have been trying to get BBC I player running on my Googletv chromecast via Express VPN (connected to UK) with no luck. I keep getting a message saying "not available in your region" . I have tried clearing cache and storage from Playstore app but didnt work.
Any other tips or suggestions would be appreciated

I-Player blocks some VPN's. I'm in the UK and I need to bypass my VPN (PIA) to watch I-Player.
Try UK Wembley. It works for me. (The BBC detects certain VPNs, but not the Wembley one.)
you sure you're using the best configurations of expressvpn? lightway udp is the best
Try googeling BBC I think you will get plenty of sites providing them.
Because your Google Account isn't based in the UK I guess.
Did you sideload the app ?
