So I have a Philips 50pfl5604. I have a 32 GB thumbdrive connected cuz built in storage limit sucks. Apps on the thumbdrive take a long time to load. Is that because of the thumbdrive size, or just because it is a thumbdrive? I don't see needing the storage space of an external hard drive but would it load better than the thumbdrive? Sorry for not being more savvy with this. 🤗
Hi, I have Samsung 128 gb connected to my Philips 4K smart tv as internal storage, all my apps that are downloaded are on it except system apps. My apps load very fast. I click on a app and it load and opens with no problems. I upgraded from the 32gb to 128gb because of the slow load time, I haven’t had any load issues since. I brought the usb off of Amazon for $15 on sale. I hope this can help.
